I know we all say it as parents but seriously, where did the time go? My one and only little man turned six in October. I know, I know, it is almost February and I am just now getting to his photos. I vowed to do better with this in 2015 and not put my own families photos on the back burner as much. We had a super fun little party for my little lover of all things cold blooded, slithery and scaly. Every year I say I’m not going to throw an extravagant party for him but hey, lets face it, I do it any way. He is our one and only child and we only have one birthday party a year.
See list of vendors at the bottom of the post!! I got to work with some awesome vendors so go show them some love!
Incredible boa cake by Cakes by Carrie. She is the girl who does all of my smash cakes for my sessions and has done Easton’s cakes for the past four years. She totally outdid herself this time. I got these cute little wooden snakes and lizards from Oriental Trading. When the kids arrived they each got to color a snake and lizard and put them in their “Live Animal Carriers”. Inside the carriers were some tattoos, plastic reptile toys and candy treats for their goody bag.
Small candy station for the kids to fill. Guarded by the iguana of course.
A huge thanks to Rich from Reptile Adventures for making his day more than special. WE first saw Rich at Easton’s preschool where he did a presentation on reptiles last year. Easton would not stop talking about him and that he HAD to have Rich at his party so he could be the one to hold the snake. So yes, I ended up with a 17 foot boa in my den. Anything for our children right! His friends had a pretty great time as well.
Easton’s favorite: Tebow the Rhinoceros Iguana

Not sure how to top this one next year but I have a feeling it might be car related theme next year 🙂 Until then……party on.
