There is nothing more classic than a crisp, clean blue and white nautical look.  When Wyatt’s mom, Nicole, told me she had this theme in mind I ran with it!  Its a look that will never go out of style.  We did a split session for his birthday photos and started in the studio for a few simple portraits in his sweet little suspender and plaid shirt then quickly jumped into the good stuff!  Cake!!!  Wyatt didn’t love getting his hands dirty so we had to help him out a little to make a mess.  It was a pretty easy clean up for me this time around.

The following day we met at a beautiful outdoor location to finish up his portraits.  Nicole purchased some great simple outfits from Zara that were casual and comfortable for Wyatt to move in. The light was stunning but Wyatt was extremely serious for me.  Sometimes these end up being my favorite shots however!  I mean look at those gorgeous brown eyes!!!

Danny and Nicole opted to purchase an add on family portrait for this session and I am so glad they did!  I loved all the colors and it goes to show you don’t have to match!
